Meet Our Team

Veterinarian/Practice Owner

Dr. Scott Barham

Dr. Scott Barham was born and raised in Corsicana and the Blooming Grove area.
Growing up he spent most of his time at the family farm improving the land and working
his father’s and grandfather’s cattle. His interest in veterinary medicine stemmed from
working with his father, Dr. Bobby Barham, at his small animal practice, as well as his
experiences at the family farm. Working with his father gave him many opportunities to
broaden his interests and knowledge of veterinary medicine at a very early age.
However, his goal as a child was to pursue a career in human medicine. Once in high
school, his career interest then converted to Computer Science and continued as such
when he enrolled at Navarro College. That quickly changed as his interest in his father’s
practice grew.

Dr. Scott Barham went on to attend Texas A&M University, where he received his
Bachelor of Sciences in Animal Science (1996), Biomedical Science (1998), and Doctor
of Veterinary Medicine (2003). Dr. Barham’s interests in veterinary medicine are:
internal medicine, ultrasound, orthopedic surgery, soft tissue surgery, and dentistry.
In his free time, Dr. Barham enjoys spending time with his wife and their 3 children, now
grown, and being involved with his church. He also enjoys running and competing in
races and other competitive events.

Associate Veterinarian

Dr. Olivia Combs

Dr. Combs grew up in Central Texas running barefoot alongside her family’s goats, chickens, dogs, cats, and the various wildlife that they would nurse back to health. She decided at age 15 that she wanted to become a veterinarian; in pursuit of this, she attended Central Texas College for her undergraduate studies and then Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine where she graduated with her DVM in May of 2023. Dr. Combs joined CVC in July of 2023 and has enjoyed getting to know the wonderful people of Corsicana. Her specific interests in veterinary medicine include client education, gentle handling, and surgery. You never know if you’ll find Dr. Combs performing surgery on a patient or stitching up a stuffed animal toy.

In her free time, Dr. Combs is an avid crafter and has dabbled in almost any medium you can think of; her particular favorites are sewing, crocheting, and working with EVA foam. Her husband, Matthew, is also creative and together they volunteer at the Warehouse Living Arts Center here in Corsicana. They are often helping to build sets, make costumes, and sometimes they are even performing on stage.

Associate Veterinarian

Dr. Hannah Haney

Dr. Hannah Haney grew up in the Dallas area, and it has been her life’s mission to work with animals. From riding horses to being involved in FFA, Dr. Haney always aspired to be a veterinarian. First, she attended Tarleton State University and received her Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science with a minor in Biology in 2021. Then, she received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree from Texas A&M University in May of 2025. Dr. Haney moved to Corsicana and joined the CVC team following graduation. She thrives in general practice where everyday is different, and specifically enjoys dermatology and caring for feline patients!

Outside of her career, Dr. Haney shares a life with her husband Mykael and their three fur children. Pecos - a golden retriever mix, and two cats named Lennox and Cricket. In her free time she enjoys reading, antique shopping, and finding a new place in nature to explore.

Business Manager

Kerri Barham

Kerri was born in Corsicana and raised just down the road in the small town of Blooming Grove. After graduating high school, she attended Navarro College and, eventually, Texas A&M University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. Once she and Dr. Barham had their first child, Kerri began her stay-at-home mom career and continued that with their three children, for ten years. Once their youngest child started Kindergarten, she entered the school system at Corsicana ISD and became a first grade teacher. After teaching for five years, she and Dr. Scott decided it was time for her to join him with the practice. Today she is the accountant for Corsicana Veterinary Clinic and shares other business owner responsibilities with her husband. Kerri enjoys, first and foremost, being Mom to their three (now grown) children and spending time with family and friends. She also loves traveling, hiking, concerts, working on the yard, coffee shops, and shopping; especially antiquing and thrifting with their daughter. Kerri adores and cherishes her time with the Barham family dogs; Maxi and Tucker, who are also considered children. She enjoys taking them for walks, car rides and to visit family and places around town.

Clinic Cat

Ceevie

Ceevie Marie, Queen of CVC, came to live at Corsicana Veterinary Clinic on October 4th, 2011, at around 3 years old. She was hand-picked from the Corsicana Animal Shelter for the important role of clinic cat and has done the best job! She is spoiled rotten and gets what she wants. She’ll make eye contact with you, meow, and run alongside you as if to say, “Come with me. I’ll show you.” Ceevie remains somewhat playful in her golden years, but she mostly loves her naps and has several favorite spots throughout her large home.
She can be found by a window basking in the sun but is sometimes in a box, on top of a warm printer, on the front desk, in the breakroom during lunchtime, or curled up on a countertop or chair. She particularly likes to be in Dr. Barham’s personal space, especially on top of his keyboard when he’s trying to work. She has her own room but she prefers to freely roam around the clinic. Ceevie is loved by everyone around her; her Barham family, clinic employees, clients, and her many Facebook fans!
